Who We Are
We connect philanthropists with incredible organizations and local leaders, building relationships that drive lasting change in some of the hardest to reach areas around the world.
Move92 is a global
philanthropic advisory
We connect philanthropists with grassroots organizations that align with their core values. Together, we craft a purpose-driven portfolio that sparks real-time impact and drives lasting change.
People often ask us:
"Where will my money make the biggest impact?"
"How can I be sure my funds are used effectively?"
We have the answers to these questions. We will develop a tailor made plan that feels personal, safe, and effective. Whether you're passionate about a specific region, cause, or driving global change, we offer a philanthropic approach that is personal, meaningful, and truly impactful.

There are three key things that make our approach unique:
We focus on building long-lasting relationships center around aligned values and trust.
We have an extensive network that allows us to access organizations in some of the hardest to reach areas around theworld.
We work with you to create a philanthropic plan that intersects your values and vision, with the actual needs of localcommunities.
Why the name?
The name Move92 comes from a statistic from the OECD that states of the US$10 billion allocated to NGOs that work on gender equality, only 8% of that is given to organizations that work directly in the country where the work is being done. We want to change that by moving some of that 92% directly to local leaders who understand the needs of their communities best.
Our lens of working with girls and women is wide, because we know that gender equity means working with boys and men as well. We are constantly learning that each community has unique ideas on what girls and women need, and are listening and learning from our local partners on how best to support them in their unique cultural context. Overall, we are seeing time and time again when women thrive, communities thrive—and our whole world benefits.

Hal Nathan, the Founder of Move92, has always been committed to supporting creative ways to mitigate the climate crisis. In 2018, he read the book Drawdown and discovered that supporting girls and women's education, healthcare and economic opportunities is one of the most effective responses to climate change. From that moment, Hal grew his philanthropy worldwide with an emphasis on these specific ways to support girls and women. He started Move92 as a way to inspire others to do the same.
This theme is the foundation of our work, and we learn more and more what it means in dozens of different cultural contexts. Supporting girls and women in Bolivia looks entirely different than it does in a slum in Kenyaor with Indigenous women in Guatemala. We are committed to supporting the cultural nuances that make meaningful lasting change for women in the communities in which they live.
